Shot on a Hi8 handycam, the film was written, directed, edited, and produced by Sandeep and his cousin Sachin. Sandeep also starred in the film as one of the main leads. An amateur film at best, The T-Files was an eye awakening moment for Sandeep as he fell in love with filmmaking.In 2001, Sandeep’s parents bought and moved into a hotel in rural Virginia. Living in a hotel for his entire high school years was an experience of its own, but it also became home to Sandeep’s first production house.
