Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Video Account Manager to join our team and manage client relationships within the video production department. The Video Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. This role involves managing video production projects from inception to completion, coordinating with internal teams, and driving client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong and productive relationships.
- Understand client needs, objectives, and expectations to deliver tailored solutions and exceed their goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
Project Management:
- Oversee video production projects from initial briefing to final delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including production, creative, and post-production, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
- Develop and present proposals and pitches to potential clients to secure new business.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Client Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project status, deliverables, and any changes.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports on project progress, performance metrics, and client feedback.
- Collect and analyze client feedback to continuously improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
Internal Coordination:
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that client vision and requirements are accurately translated into video content.
- Facilitate internal meetings and briefings to align team members on project objectives and deadlines.
- Address and resolve any internal challenges or obstacles that may impact project delivery.
Market and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production and account management.
- Share insights and knowledge with the team to enhance overall service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Media Production, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role within the video production or media industry.
- Strong understanding of video production processes, from pre-production through post-production.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and CRM systems.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with video production software and tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Familiarity with digital marketing and distribution channels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing client needs and project requirements.
