Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for our film and television drama projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the film and TV industry, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies. This role is crucial in promoting our content, building brand awareness, and driving audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for film and television drama projects.
- Identify target audiences and create strategies to effectively reach and engage them.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure marketing strategies align with the project’s vision and goals.
Campaign Management:
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
- Coordinate with external agencies, media partners, and internal teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
Brand Building and Promotion:
- Develop and maintain the brand image of the projects, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity.
- Create and manage promotional materials, including trailers, posters, press kits, and online content.
- Organize and execute promotional events, screenings, and press tours to generate buzz and media coverage.
Market Analysis and Research:
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze data and feedback to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Use insights to refine and improve marketing approaches and project positioning.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Track expenses and evaluate the cost-effectiveness of marketing activities.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, broadcasters, and media representatives.
- Provide regular updates and reports on marketing activities and campaign performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Film & Television, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing within the film and television industry, with a track record of successful campaigns.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital media, and audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including analytics platforms and content management systems.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in managing and coordinating promotional events and press activities.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and emerging marketing techniques.
